In conjunction with Charlie's Professional Bartending (www.charliebar.com) , this intensive Bartender Training Course will focus on teaching you the basic mechanics behind the bar, effective customer service, and dealing with industry pressures. You'll also be drilled on proper glassware identification, pouring techniques, bar tools and bar equipment. The drinks you will learn and pour consist of the forty most common drink recipes that will constitute ninety percent of the drinks you will ever make. Expert instructors will teach you proper ways of measuring, pouring, mixing multiple liquors, blending, garnishing, and industry tricks of the trade! Instruction will also cover an intensive overview of liquorand liqueur categories, wines, beers, cordials, cognacs, and specialty brands. Students will be exposed to the pressures of customer service, even under extreme conditions, as well as various bar atmospheres. Time consolidation methods and order of drinks are also part of the curriculum. Upon completion ofthis course, students will be ready for immediate job placement as a bartender

For every qualifying $1 spent at Olive Black on any food, beverage, or alcohol , 1 point will be added to your Rewards Card balance.
For every 300 points that you
accumulate, we'll reward you with a $50 Olive Black Gift Card. We will also track your annual points earned which can yield significant rewards at the end of the year. Greater rewards will be given when you achieve higher point levels.
Points may also be earned on your Dine-in and Carryout orders! Simply tell us your card number when placing your order.

Here’'s a brief overview of how the program works.
You will be awarded 1 point for every dollar spent at Olive Black on food, beverage, and alcohol purchases. For every 300 points earned, a $50 value gift card will be rewarded to the card holder.
Olive Black Points are available on qualifying purchases at the Olive Black Martini & Wine Lounge in Richmond, IL. You must present your Rewards Club card for dine-in and carryout orders at the time of payment to receive points. For delivery orders, you can provide your Rewards Card number over the phone at the time of placing your order.
No purchase is necessary to get a card; however you can only have one active card at a time. Lost or stolen cards are replaceable. To get our card, you must complete an enrollment form and give it to any Olive Black employee. To enroll, you must have a valid address. Account transfers and address changes may be made in writing with necessary supporting documentation.
Points will not be issued for tax, or on any special offers, discounts, coupons or gift card purchases. Any Olive Black receipts that have any kind of discount applied will not be eligible for points.
Our Rewards Club Program is designed to give its members higher rewards, along with special offers and privileges for members with higher annual points earned.
A receipt will serve as confirmation that the points were credited to your account.
Points will not be issued on the purchase of gift certificates/cards. If the recipient of the gift card is a Rewards Club member, than they will be able to earn points on their qualifying purchases.

Starting Sunday, April 1, 2012 Olive Black will start serving an AMAZING Sunday Brunch from 10:30am to 1:30pm for all ages to enjoy!
The Brunch line will include over thirty item selections including a fresh omlette station, carving station, kid's food section, fresh fruit basket, and a huge dessert island! We will also have free flowing Mimosas, a Bloody Mary Buffet, and a great outdoor patio to enjoy your meal and cocktail during one of those fabulous spring afternoons!
